I volunteered with Recurso International for 11-years.
Volunteer at the University of Florida (2006-2007), Volunteer (2007-2012), Director of Communications (2012 - 2017).
Recurso International is a global humanitarian organization that provides education and aid services to underdeveloped areas around the world.
To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
Humanitarian Aid
I managed all public relations and advertising, event planning and vendor relations, event production, social media management, graphic design and some budget management.
My main three events were:
- 2012 World AIDS Day Initiative -- raised $4,000
- 2013 Winter Syrian Refugee Aid
- 2014 partnership with UNRWA
From 2012 - 2016, I led fundraising that raised over $8,000 for UNRWA disaster relief.
